Why All Religions Can't Logically Be True.
The truth is simply 1+1 equals 2. Yes it is true that 1 and 3, can be closer than 7 and 9, but they are not true either way. Similarly when it comes to religion, they are some messages that may have some truth in them, but they cannot all be true.
If we start walking even from the same position. If we all walked in different directions, we would not all arrive at the same location. This is common sense, but reasoning fails when it comes to discussions about spirituality.
They can't all be true, if what they say is different. Either God exists or he does not, either reincarnation exists or it does not, either the self exists or it is an illusion, either life was created or it evolved. Either the universe spontaneously created itself or it was created by an intelligent designer. Either heaven or hell exists, or they do not. Either all that exists are within our senses and can be perceived through technology like science and materialism claims, or there is more to this than that.
Let us come correct and admit, that there can only be one truth, 1+1 is 2, not 3 or 1 or whatever number. We logically all can not be correct, same way the answer to 1+1 cant be whatever other number. If in fact heaven does exist, there aren't multiple paths to it. If hell does exist, most of those paths are headed there.
Everything will be answered for, let us address the issues I presented in line, so we can deliberate. First does God exist? Cause he can't both exist and not exist. The first law of information is that, information comes from a mind. Information can not create itself. Even in your body, the DNA is a long sequence of information, which tells the cells where to be and what to do. Implicitly, there must be a mind behind it.
Jesus has more documents speaking about his existence than any other historical figure. Even his detractors spoke about him, including historians such as Josephus, who even mentioned his miracles, even though he did not believe. Similarly his disciples and those healed, were murdered for their belief in Christ, if what he did and who he said he was, was not real. Why would hundreds of people that actually interacted with him, be willing to suffer and be persecuted?
Unless what he said is true, why would the people that know him, including his literal brothers die for a lie, why would they perpetuate a lie, if it did not benefit them, and they witnessed there fellow believers be killed and tortured. Evidence for Julius Caesar is real, is because we have found coins in his name, and a few historical references.
If we don't question his existence because of a coin, what about Christ? We found over 10,000 historical documents besides the gospel referencing Jesus Christ. If this man, not only existed, but even the people that did not believe in him and were foreign, such as Josephus could testify to his miracles. Even the Pharisees that conjectured his crucifixion believed and saw the miracles themselves, but claimed they were done by demons. If even the people that killed him said, that he did his miracles by demons.
Of which Jesus said that, if it was demons that he did his miracles through, then why would he chase, torment and banish demons away from people? A house divided cannot stand. If so if his miracles are real, how can we know that he was God incarnate; well, he silenced the storm with just his words and brought people back to life. If God manifested in the flesh, with a verified person that existed; then God obviously exists, and he joined the human family, this Emmanuel was with us. Emmanuel means God with us and he has power over death of which, we will all die, and God is our only way to life. Christ stated he is the truth, the life, and the way and no one gets to father, except through him.
Now we are faced with a dilemma, either what Jesus said was true or he was a lunatic. People want to accept Christs teachings about life, but not accept his teachings about himself. He was either a liar or he was not. If what he said about forgiveness and love, and loyalty, and mercy, was true then it's more than probable that what he said about himself was true. If it is true that God came in the flesh, to reconcile ourselves to him, I would examine that offer. If God is just, like the Bible says he is; we all have a debt of sin, to all those we hurt, and not just the bad things we did but the good things we did not do.
People want God to be just, but think judgement is wrong. If anyone is to make any judgements, it is the one who sees, and knows everything; the mind behind the universe. If you got a general motors car, the mechanic at the dealership can fix it better than a random mechanic. Similarly, if we want to be fixed from the disease of sin, it depends on our proximity to the one who created us. God gave Christ the authority to judge at the end of times. God became one of us, and Christ will be the one the one to judge us in the end, for he has been through the struggle in life.
The truth is, if you find truth in what Jesus said about the world, then to be congruent, you must accept what he said about himself too. Either Jesus is a liar, or he is God in the flesh. The other religions even acknowledge Jesus, either a prophet, or a teacher, or an enlightened person. Yet, they pick and choose what they want to believe or leave the rest. You see there is no option, you have to make sure, you make a choice because not making a choice is still a choice.
God seeing the world covered in evil, and being holy, there was a separation between mankind and humanity. Since in the beginning, mankind fell for Lucifer's trick, and disobeyed God, attempting to flip God's order upside down. The animals were under Adam and Eve, and Adam and Eve were under God. The devil flipped the order, to Adam catering to eve, then eve catering to the snake, which was under Lucifer. He used the same temptation, of becoming like God, like he tried himself.
That is the problem in the world, people walking around trying to be God in their own lives. The world is in shambles because people playing God ultimately always fail, we neither have control of the future nor the past, only God does. If you believe in what Jesus said, it follows you also, ought to believe in what he said of himself.
Human beings are body, mind and soul. Instead of having three parts in one, like a human is; God being in the same image as us, is three persons in one being, instead of three parts making up one person. He is three persons, as one being. He is the father, the son and the holy Spirit. God being Just he must punish sin, being gracious, he took our sin upon himself on the cross. God the son, took the entire world's sin and got justice from the father, suffered and died, so God could be both the just and justifier of those that believe in him
God came in the flesh and showed us how he meant human beings were meant to be. We are supposed to be like Christ, what a privilege that we get to learn how to be God-like. How much love it is, that God took the sin of man, and gave us his righteousness, so that none can boast. Not all religions are true, if you agree with what he said about morals and the world, then we must agree in what he says he was. He gave us his righteousness, in our faith, so we joined God's family, in Christ, God joined the human family and the son chose to remain one of us.
He is the bridge between God and man, being both, he reconciled man to God, and God to man. The law is, Love God and Love others, love is the law, if you followed the law, you would follow the ten commandments and you would be loving. Since we all break the law, we cannot earn our way to heaven through works but through grace from Christ. If we truly believe that Christ is right, then we would abandon our ways and follow him.
I believe God showed us himself in the person of Christ, of whom stated, that the only way to God is through him and emulating the words he spoke and the way he lived, accepting his taking of your sin in the cross and his righteousness being given to you. We all sin, we all need God. Same way 1+1=2 salvation only comes through Christ, because religions contradict and they all logically can't be true.
Pascals wager, if Jesus is right, and God is just and you refuse his payment for your sin, you pay for your sins yourself in hell. If science is right, we all just die and that's it, that's a gamble with eternity I would not make. Repent and accept Christ, not all paths lead to heaven. All religions can't be true, because they contradict. If God himself is both merciful and just, and he loved us while we're still sinners. Only pride would stop you from accepting grace on the cross, and accepting the way of love and Christ's sacrifice.
No matter what you have done, you can be forgiven, if you repent, accept your debt of sin has been paid on the cross, and believe that Christ was raised from the dead, repent and with the holy Spirit, and no longer be a slave to sin. God will give you his holy Spirit, and change you from the inside out, throughout your whole life in the process of sanctification, and when christ raises us from the dead, we will be completely free from sin. In life we can have power over sin through the holy Spirit, and though we are sinners, God still loved us and paid the debt of our sin. We were not only made in the image of God but God loved us enough to pay our sins and become one of us.
Through Christ, nothing can separare us, from the love of God, without Christ, we are a slave to our sin and if God is just, an offense towards an eternal God, is eternal condemnation and separation from God. God loves us, but his forgiveness isn't eternal, but your punishment is, if you don't repent and accept Christ as lord. Renounce your life of sin, accept the cross and serve the Lord, and you will be free from sin and free to love through Christ and ultimately fulfill what it is, you were created for, or you have no purpose and not only are you related, but your ancestors were fish.
Even though we know animals can only reproduce according to their own kind. You can neither argue against God and your arms are not long enough to fight and disobey God. Surrender and accept the payment of sin on the cross, and gracefully accept to join God's family forever or be forever separated from God and his love at your death, you have the free will to choose your eternal destination. You don't belong to this world, you belong to God and his eternal love.
