The Problem With Millennial Dating.

Many have persistently complained about how late millennials are leaving their nest. Of course, there is a responsibility that all must shoulder, to become independent. If within possibility even have a family. However times have changed and not only the norms, the financial hierarchy, the western Christian virtues have declined.

Single moms, teenage pregnancy, baby daddy's, step daddy's, home wreckers, child support, alimony, people behind bars because of spouce slander, and lastly separation of families by the state; due to negligent families rightfully, bias laws with favoritism, divorce and custody laws that favor women. As a man the concept of marriage has lost its luster.

Within the advent of social media and such. Back in the day people would interact with actual people in real life. Honestly, how many of us even talk to our very own neighbors? The invention of phone and Internet, has literally reduced the distance between space, time and information used travel by almost zero and ar zero cost through social media.

Unlike paying for a phone service, or even cable services; we can access that for free. However it's not really free, if there are not selling you a product, you are the product being sold to advertisers to inform them on what products to target you. Living in a culture of social media, attention is currency, that's come at the cost of intimacy.

Some of these consequences are a result of population. With the internet, people have access to more people than ever before. People interacting is no longer confined, to time, places, or even people in close proximity. With the increase in either real or idea of potential mates; inversely, the desire for commitment, and of compromise are diminished consequently. Ironically, it is a society of planned obsolescence, not just the property we use, but also for the people that deliberately use others.

Things don't last long, before getting broken, neither do our relationships if left unattended. In a culture of instant gratification; people would rather replace people, and call it an upgrade, than fix what is broken. People would rather replace than fix, be it technology or people.

Narcissism has also been a plague among current relationships. With the advent of the sexual revolution, and the free love movement. It coalesced with a decay of modesty, family values, decline in marriages, higher divorce rates, spread of diseases. Abandonment, of celibacy, and modesty, for birth control. Lastly, the rise of single mothers and divorce. By abandoning our modesty in the name of sexual liberation, we destroyed the family structure.

Getting married now, you have a 56 percent chance of getting divorced, and if under 30 you have a 70 percent chance. These statistics flactuate, so do not take them as any absolutes but relative to each year, it has been going up consistently. Most men end up ruined with alimony, child support, loss of their businesses and most importantly, their children. The courts are favored to give the money custody, and most importantly their children. The courts favor the moms custody of children, unless under pernicious circumstances.

On the reverse, women end up knocked up by similar good men that turn abusive or abandon their children. Forcing the single moms to raise the babes for themselves. Perhaps I would say  that some women, should have given some genuine good men a chance. The problem is that they won't, till they get the guy there always wanted; if he leaves and you don't work or work out, you are the rebound.

The poor dudes that love a girl, do anything for her, but the women date assholes and are used as emotional tampons. So many of us men have been cheated on, led along, used financially, emotionally and have our time wasted. I am sure this has happened to you as well ladies; used for sex and wasted your time.

In conclusion, it is okay to love hard but more importantly to think harder. For the human heart is deceitful, how we feel, is often less right, than what we think. At least logic, is often correct.
